Renowned for his deep hands-on expertise across multiple technology domains, he has been a driving force behind pioneering innovations in the financial technology space.
In 2000, he founded GSS India as a specialized product company in the payments domain, which rapidly expanded its footprint across global markets including East Africa (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, South Sudan) and Bangladesh.
His next milestone came in 2012, with the design and development of Torus, a next-generation Low-Code Application Development Platform. Built on open-source, horizontally scalable distributed technologies and a robust microservices architecture, Torus has been recognized by Gartner Peer Insights as a high-productivity platform with a unique approach to enterprise application development.
Mr. Sekar has been the recipient of several prestigious recognitions, including the Entrepreneur of the Year Award and Emerging 50 by NASSCOM.
